3 Ways GPUG Amplify Can Make your Business More Successful

Airplanes can’t soar without expert maneuvering. How high can you take your business after attending GPUG Amplify?

If you are a top-level or mid-level manager, GPUG Amplify, March 20-21, 2018 in Chicago, IL, is the conference for YOU to gather with fellow business leaders and Microsoft leaders to network and exchange knowledge on how to best maximize Microsoft Dynamics® GP performance to achieve business success.  How? Well, since you asked, here are three ways attending GPUG Amplify can make your business more successful:

1. Business leader-oriented education.
Entrepreneur recently published a blog titled 7 Ways to Become a Better Business Leader. It is full of great tips - you can read it here - but one tip that we thought especially pertains to those in a executive or managerial position was: KEEP LEARNING. Entrepreneur’s blog states: “For the sake of your team and your entire business, don’t become the outdated type of leader whose knowledge no longer has a practical application. Instead, strive to learn more about your industry, your team, and the world every day.”

GPUG Amplify is two days jam-packed full of engaging and relevant content for business leaders. Click here to explore the educational sessions awaiting you onsite.
GPUG Amplify
2. Network with top Dynamics GP resources.
At GPUG Amplify, hugs replace handshakes. GPUG is a powerful community, abound with authentic, personal relationships. The intimate nature of the GPUG Amplify event allows numerous opportunities for one-on-one conversations with sought-after session presenters, your decision-maker peers, ISV vendors, and the Microsoft Dynamics GP Support team. Expanding your support network is crucial to success. Whether literal or figurative, in-person or virtual, GPUG Amplify is a bear hug — not a pat on the back.

"By collaborating with others at Amplify and attending educational sessions, I was able to identify new ways and tools to help our company run more efficiently."
Eileen Morales, GPUG Member, past attendee

3. Discover new ISV solutions.
GPUG Amplify allows you to stay competitive by discovering innovative new products and services from a multitude of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). In 2017, 74.1% of GPUG Amplify attendees found an ISV/Partner solution they were interested in pursuing for their organization, so you're bound to bring options for new solutions back to the office.  Take a look at the list of current 2018 sponsors.

Marking your Outlook as "out of office" is easy. Getting to Chicago is easy. What's difficult is taking the first step towards improving your business.

Blog written by Janet Lampert, President, Dynamic Communities.

Thank you to the countless community members and contributors who share their talents daily to make GPUG a thriving community. Because of these dedicated volunteers GPUG will continue to offer enhanced content in 2018. With record-breaking GPUG Summit attendance last year in Nashville and a powerful community of 26,800 passionate Microsoft Dynamics® GP users, we are excited to keep the momentum going this year.

The GPUG community is your place for sharing knowledge, taking part in education, conferences, and networking. One upcoming conference I am especially looking forward to is GPUG Amplify, March 20-21, 2018 in downtown Chicago, IL.

GPUG Amplify will offer relevant content, inspiring instructors and the opportunity for coaching and guidance from community experts. Top- and mid-level managers utilizing Dynamics GP will have access to exchange knowledge on how to best maximize Dynamics GP performance to achieve business success and to connect with other decision-makers to accelerate your network. Click here to register.

“GPUG Amplify is a great opportunity to connect directly with the Microsoft team and to see Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 in action. We’ll also have our developers and support experts on-hand to answer your toughest questions,” said Gordon Macdonald, Director, Microsoft Cloud & Enterprise Product Marketing. “The whole team at Microsoft really looks forward to these opportunities to collaborate with our customers and partners.”

“How can you become a better business leader? By taking the time to continue to learn. As ‘the ultimate hub of innovation’ Chicago is the perfect location to make sure you are keeping your approach fresh and innovative,” said Bob McAdam, GPUG General Manager. Learn more about this triennial conference year.

The opportunities don’t end with GPUG Amplify for the Dynamics GP community. I encourage you to watch your calendar for more virtual and in-person learning and networking opportunities throughout the year, leading up to GPUG Summit Phoenix this October.

Chicago, IL | Your Destination this March for GPUG Amplify (And Other Fun!)

Blog written by Ginny Lebeck, GPUG Engagement Manager, Dynamic Communities.

Welcome to Chicago, Illinois, a dynamic and thriving business community! On behalf of GPUG I’m thrilled to welcome all of you to the “Windy City” for GPUG Amplify 2018.

With a vast list of award-winning restaurants, several professional sports teams, miles of outdoor enjoyment, and world-renowned attractions, Chicago is an exciting location for this year’s GPUG Amplify conference.

Odds are that you know Chicago is the home of Willis Tower, but there are many other reasons to visit Chicago this March 20-21:

  1. GPUG is offering top notch Microsoft Dynamics® GP education at the Marriott Marquis.
  2. Chicago was recently dubbed “the ultimate hub of innovation” and is one of the highest-ranked tech hubs in the world.
  3. Approximately 30 ISV’s and VARs will be sponsoring GPUG Amplify – browse the list!
  4. Chicago is ranked as the 3rd best sports city in the US – it has 28 championship titles and five major league teams!
  5. Microsoft support staff will be at GPUG Amplify to offer solutions to your support issues (bring a list of pain points/questions!).

GPUG Chicago Chapter Leader Katie Graves had some more recommendations in this post. Katie said:

“As a local to the area, Chicago is a great location for GPUG Amplify because not only is it a beautiful city to get out and see but Chicago is also a natural epicenter for meeting of the minds. You never know who you might end up networking with, or other ideas you may stumble upon.

While staying at the Marriot Marquis, you will be just a little over a mile from the Chicago Museum Campus. Here you will find the Field Museum of Natural History, Shedd Aquarium, the Adler Planetarium and Solider Field. A little farther away is my personal favorite- the Museum of Science & Industry. If you are coming to Amplify with a spare day, you can't go wrong with any of these choices!”

When asked what he was most looking forward to regarding Chicago, GPUG Amplify speaker Kerry Hataley said: “Real PIZZA! I love Deep Dish Pizza and yes, I know I will get into trouble here, but that thin, foldable cardboard is not pizza. Pizza needs to be eaten with a fork and weigh at least 4 lbs!” Read more in an exclusive Q&A.

So come on out to Chicago and join fellow users, experts, and the Microsoft Support team in “Chicagoland” for two days of invaluable Dynamics GP training at GPUG Amplify - register today.

I'll be there and I'd love to meet you and your colleagues (did I mention this is a great place for team building - come early or stay later after the conference and visit some or all of the top 10 attractions to see while in Chicago!)

See you in March!
